Dalle Terme di Valdieri proseguire in auto fino al Piano della Casa (1760). Imboccare il sentiero (palina in legno con indicazioni) che porta al Rifugio Remondino (2430) e raggiungerlo. Dal rifugio è ben visibile la dirimpettaia Catena del CAI; il canale che porta alla Forcella Varrone è il secondo partendo da sx (faccia a monte), mentre il primo porta alla Forcella Est (pendenze minori; vedere relazione su Gulliver). Dal rifugio puntare direttamente al canale, il cui conoide basale si raggiunge in una decina di minuti. SALITA Risalire il conoide basale e, in seguito, il breve canale; le pendenze raggiungono indicativamente un massimo di 45-50° circa in prossimità della strozzatura mediana (in assenza di neve trattasi presumibilmente di una placconata). Il canale sbuca sulla Forcella Varrone (l’ultimo tratto, in carenza/assenza di neve, può presentare alcuni passi di misto o di roccia di II grado circa). Dalla Forcella si svolta a sx e, cercando il percorso migliore, si risale per rocce fino alla Punta Laurenti (ometto in pietre), anche qui incontrando al massimo passi di II circa. DISCESA Dalla Punta Laurenti si percorre un breve tratto di crestina abbastanza esposto (ben appigliato; ovviamente porre attenzione a cosa si prende con le mani…), dopodiché si scende per alcuni metri sul versante Nord (versante Rifugio Remondino) fino ad un’evidente cengia che la si segue fino al suo termine, dopodiché si prosegue o rimontando per un breve tratto in cresta o scendendo ulteriormente, puntando alla dorsale di rocce rotte che senza difficoltà porta fino alla Forcella Est (dove sbuca l’omonimo canale) per proseguire fino all’arrotondata Punta Remondino. Da quest’ultima non resta che proseguire ancora verso Est fino ad oltrepassare una bastionata rocciosa dopodiché si scende piegando sulla propria sx in direzione del rifugio. È anche possibile scendere direttamente dal Canale della Forcella Est (in caso di scarso innevamento esso può presentare un breve salto nella parte centrale).
